“An extremely stylish, thoughtfully designed hotel - full of little touches and care. We stayed for 6 nights, and I can honestly say it is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. First - the location. Right at the beach, with a beach club that doesn’t ram a million deckchairs next to each other (private beach, of course - and you have your own reserved loungers). It’s right at the edge of the main beachside paths, so ideal for people watching - it always felt alive. We took the junior suite on the third floor - a sea view balcony. Waking each morning to the sound of the sea, and going to bed listening to the waves, was incredible. While the town is loud at night, the sound proofing is extremely good - and it’s wonderful to hear the buzz of people enjoying themselves from up on the balcony. The staff are, without exception, disarmingly friendly. A lot of hotels like this can err on the side of making things a little too formal - not so at Windsor. Every member of staff was great. The interior design of the hotel is clearly been carefully considered - it felt like returning home at the end of each day. The food was tremendous - lunch was especially good, being relatively simple and tasty dishes that could be delivered, in easy to eat from takeaway containers to your lounger (what a wonderful little detail!) I have stayed in places that cost much more than Windsor and enjoyed them far less, and felt much less at home - this place is a treasure, and I hope it stays that way so I can come back.”
“Wonderful experience in this hotel. A true gem. Service impeccable. Staff amazing always trying to accommodate you. Not charging for your pet, not charging for late check out. Big plus is the sunbed included in the prix. Rooms are amazing. We will come back 100% and stay longer. Don’t change nothing ! Special mention for the barman, super friendly and making amazing cocktails.”
“Excellent hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff, a wonderful location, and clean and well-designed rooms. Breakfast has everything you'd want. My husband could safely store his bike in the gym. The private beach with spaciously laid out loungers was a huge plus, especially once we saw how crammed together the chairs at the nearby beach clubs were.”
“Beautiful design hotel right on the beach front. The room was lovely and very comfy, we have enjoyed falling asleep with the sound of waves right outside of the window. Had a scenic walk on a beautiful promenade along the shore, all the way to and back from nearby Alassio. Hotel’s breakfast was spectacular, with the best local ingredients, absolutely loved it! Can’t wait to return in the summer.”
“Charming hotel with its own sand beach, which is a rare luxury in Italy. The restaurant was perhaps trying too hard, it is not the simple Italian fare you may expect in Liguria - but otherwise everything was fantastic. We will return.”
